If you want your home’s plumbing fixtures to look like
new and last for many years, you’ll need to invest both time and money in
your decision. A hasty choice based on price alone isn’t always the best
choice. To save a few dollars, many people head to a home center or the
Internet to choose fixtures based on a low price. What they end up with is
a lesson on “buyers beware.”
At SplashWorks Kitchen & Bath Gallery (formerly Saratoga Plumbing Supply
II), not only will you get
a great price, but you’ll also get the service to go along with it. This
3,500-square-foot kitchen and bath gallery, located in downtown Willow
Glen, displays an extraordinary array of medium- to high-end selections of
plumbing fixtures and accessories. “The staff knowledge, service, and
product selection are unparalleled to any plumbing fixture showroom in the
South Bay,” says Sharon Felder, of Décor de Provence, a designer and
project manager who has been using Splashworks for the past seven years.
“Their gallery allows me and my customers to get a hands-on experience, to
be able to touch and feel the products—all while being educated on what
they are about to invest in.”
And an investment is exactly what the homeowner is getting when selecting the plumbing fixtures for their remodel or new home. “Since people typically will only remodel their baths or kitchen once in their lifetime, or build their dream house once, it is wise to choose a quality product that will last for years to come,” says Eric Nelson, owner of SplashWorks. “Product knowledge about what you are about to choose for your kitchen or bath is essential. Sometimes by spending an additional 10 to 20 percent on a quality product, the customer can avoid paying an additional 80 to 100 percent down the road, and that’s without including the plumber’s bill when customers must replace poor-quality products.”
Knowledge about the products you are about to invest in is invaluable. That is exactly what you will receive when shopping at SplashWorks. The knowledgeable six-person staff has, collectively, over 75 years of experience in the plumbing industry. “Their sales staff has a vast knowledge on everything they carry” says Sharon. “The staff is always eager to help you and really seem to enjoy their job. Having that type of resource is a huge asset.”
SplashWorks has advantages other than their product knowledge. Personal service for all customers has led SplashWorks to be Diamond Certified. To achieve certification, an independent ratings company randomly polls 100 customers each quarter. The company must score 90 or higher on a 100 scale for customer satisfaction and loyalty. SplashWorks achieved this certification for two consecutive years and is the only kitchen and bath showroom to be certified locally. One of the SplashWorks loyal customers is Marla Davies, who hosts a morning radio show Mix 106.5. Marla says, “I am all about relationships. I shopped around and found that when comparing prices, they were basically the same. The reason I used them was because of their personal service. I felt like I was part of the family the moment I went there. It was an amazing experience at SplashWorks—unlike those other big-box stores where I felt ignored.”
In addition to the high-level of customer service, SplashWorks has a
gallery floor with one of the largest displays of kitchen and bath
products anywhere in the Bay Area. SplashWorks displays the latest
products from the leading mid- to high-end manufacturers from around the
world. “Being able to actually touch and feel products, and actually see
colors and finishes in person, is a huge benefit. Add that to the amount
of product knowledge and service they offer, and I would never shop
anywhere else but SplashWorks,” Marla says.
